School Counseling Program 2025-2026
Tier 1 Services for Students:All students on campus have access to the school counselor.
- Grades K-2: Students can ask their teachers if they can see the school counselor.
- Grades 3-6: Students can email the school counselor. This helps them develop communication skills for speaking with future counselors in middle school and high school.
Parents can request that the school counselor meet with their child by sending a message on Parent Square. They can also inform their child's teacher to ensure a professional approach.
Tier 1 Services: ALL students at La Verne Charter will be getting the following lessons that will be done throughout the course of the school year. 
Throughout the school year, I will be conducting Small Group Counseling (Tier 2) and Individual Counseling (Tier 3).
A consent form for parents or legal guardians will be distributed with the student. This form will provide details about the purpose of the group and the individual counseling sessions.
Please note that Small Group sessions are structured based on school data, with each group typically consisting of five students per session. Each Small Group usually comprises around eight sessions, held weekly during the lunch period to ensure that students do not miss instructional time.
